  The people in the Canyon Country 2nd Ward are very friendly and love to see new faces. They welcome visitors and do their best to make you feel comfortable. Bishop Barlow is an awesome spiritual leader, and he's very personable and pretty funny.

  They put on this nice, friendly facade, when in reality they're cliquey and rude when you don't buy what they're selling.
  
  Cult, noun: a misplaced or excessive admiration for a particular person or thing... in this case it's Joseph Smith and the current leaders of the Church.
  
  Members of this ward have "love bombed" me in a cheap attempt to lure me back despite my "No Solicitation" sign.

  Came to check them out twice. Both times, I tried to introduce myself and learn about them. They went out of their way to treat me like I was unwanted there. The only church I've ever felt unwelcome at.

  I am posting this on here since my attempts to speak to the Bishop, his counselors, and even members of the stake high council, and a patriarch, have all gone TOTALLY ignored for YEARS! I tried to address this in a civil manner, but they obviously don't care about being a good person, nor about doing the right thing.
  
  I was raised spending the first 18 years of my life going to church here, and let me tell you that the people here should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. They treat people like complete dirt, to the point I have spent the last 15 years telling them to LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!! They treated me so badly I couldn't stand being there anymore, so now they harass and threaten me. They've even made threats against my daughter, who is currently only 8 years old. These people are a disgrace to their own religion and teachings, and the worst part is how proud of themselves they are for it. The best thing I ever did was get my name DELETED from their records, and even after I have done that, they STILL just refuse to leave me alone. Complete low life people.
  
  Even the ones who do nothing but tell me I had better come, or else..... When I do come, they do nothing but tell me how I am not welcome there. The only two reasons I've ever been given, are because I have a tattoo, and because I'm a retard. Maybe I wouldn't have a tattoo if this church hadnt driven me into becoming an atheist, and i didn't have one until long after being driven away. I am also not a retard, I had head trauma as a kid, so I see spots and get dizzy sometimes. That is not retardation.
  
  And for those of you in the Santa Clarita Stake that know me and my mother, yeah, I finally said it. Your ward caused me to become an atheist. Note, I said ATHIEST! Despite what you go around saying, an atheist and Satanist are two TOTALLY different things. Dont run your mouth when You dont know what you're talking about. You showed me that NONE of you believe in Your own teachings. You claim your religion makes you a better person? Just how evil and sadistic were you before, that your religion made you better??? Even the very few members I respected, do nothing but ignore me when i reach out to them for spiritual help. You want me to return? Try giving me ONE reason why I would even want to!
  
  This Ward made me HATE religion.
